About the Role The role involves leading the preparation of the periodic reports on HR Performance to ensure HR’s ability to deliver the Performance Indicator (KPI) and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) as committed in the Balanced Scorecard and Risk Scorecard. Strategize and review the development of new or existing HR policies and procedures to ensure their effectiveness to MISC Marine business / operational requirements and to reflect industry best practices. Provide support for organizational development and business restructuring initiatives in response to changes in business direction, ensuring alignment of workforce capabilities and structures with evolving strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the periodical review and reporting of HR Balanced Scorecard and Risk Scorecard performance together with recommendation of appropriate actions.
- Review manpower and HR G&A expenses performance (actual vs budget) on a monthly and quarterly basis. Analyse variances and recommend appropriate action plans.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of HR data to the relevant parties to conform to the statutory requirements (i.e., sustainability report, annual report, AGM Q&A, Bursa requirements, ISO / TMSA audit, etc.).
- Drive the development and management of HR risk and business continuity plans to strengthen governance, minimize risk exposure, and ensure seamless HR operations during emergencies or crises.
- Lead HR benchmarking and manpower analytics initiatives to identify process improvements, align with industry best practices, and keep stakeholders informed on workforce trends and performance.
- Strategize and review the development of new or existing HR policies and procedures to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to business / operational requirements and to reflect industry best practices.
- Provide support for organizational development and business restructuring initiatives in response to changes in business direction, ensuring alignment of workforce capabilities and structures with evolving strategic objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive job evaluations to assess the relative value of roles within the organization, ensuring fair and equitable compensation structures.
- Lead job analysis activities to gather detailed information on job responsibilities, skills, and qualifications.
- Apply appropriate job evaluation methodologies (e.g., point‑factor, ranking) to establish a clear job hierarchy aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment of job roles and compensation with strategic objectives and market benchmarks.
Qualifications
Holds Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.Experience Required
