About Our Client :
A newly established company setting up a manufacturing plant in Selangor, Malaysia. Their business is geared towards both local production and global export. They are looking for an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function and also assist with key aspects of the company's setup, including regulatory compliance and operational groundwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of HR operations including
recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and employee relations
Draft and implement company HR policies in compliance with Malaysian labor law.Support the application process for manufacturing licensesand other regulatory approvals (e.g., MITI, MIDA, DOE).
Assist in preparing documentation and liaising with relevant government authorities for factory setup in Selangor.Coordinate with consultants and authorities for matters related to company incorporation, permits, and certifications.Oversee statutory compliance such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, and others.Handle import and export procedures, coordinate with customs brokers and logistics partners for relevant HR-related compliance.Set up and manage HR systems and processes from the ground up.Guide management in workforce planning and organizational structure.Foster a productive and engaging workplace culture.Requirements
Bachelor's degreein Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at
least 2 years in a managerial
or generalist capacity.
Prior involvement in setting up a manufacturing facility in Malaysia is a strong advantage.Familiarity with Malaysian manufacturing license application processes (e.g., MIDA, MITI, DOE).Working knowledge of import / export operations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Mandarin (required for documentation and communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

Solid understanding of Malaysian labor laws and HR statutory requirements.Hands-on, independent, and resourceful — comfortable in a startup or ground-up environment.Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
