Primarily responsible for providing efficient administrative and sales support to the managements. Responsible for providing efficient administration support to Logistics sales and carrying out indoor sales activities such as tele sales, CRM (client relationship Management) and maintaining close follow-up on quotation. Work closely with the sales team in implementing sales strategies and to increase GAC Logistics presence within the Malaysia Market.
Job requirements
- Minimum Advance Diploma / Degree Holder in Logistics & Management or similar field
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant working experience in the freight forwarding industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities
Quotation Strike Rates & Responses TimeOversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely quotations
Monitor and analyze quotation strike rates to identify trends and areas for improvementEnsure quotations are delivered to customers within the agreed response timeProcurement and Supplier ManagementOversee the procurement process, including rates sourcing, negotiating and confirmation of services
Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and cost effectivenessEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and proceduresCoordination, exchange sales lead & trade lane development with global offices and agentsLiaise and coordinate with global offices / agents with regards to sales-related enquiries, development as well as shipment monitoring / coordination internally with customer service and operation.
Generating, recording, monitoring and follow up sales lead received, and sales lead sent abroad and locally on monthly basisTo ensure effectively follow up on sales leads and convert them into salesBuild good relationship to develop opportunities between G2G & G2A by exchange sales lead and promote our servicesUpdating the selected countries follow by other countries' pricing on monthly and quarterly basis.Alert by providing briefing to the sales and business support team on the updated pricingCarry out telesales to promote GAC services and follow up for business opportunityAd-Hoc Task RequiredCarry out all other activities as assigned by Line Manager & the management and perform any ad-hoc tasks as when required by the management.
