Customer Support (Fresher - Mandarin / Cantonese Speaker)
The Customer Support (Mandarin Speaker) role involves interacting with customers through inbound / outbound calls and online channels, depending on business needs. The position is responsible for delivering support and resolving routine product or service-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Freshers, SPM, STPM, Diploma or any equivalent qualification can apply
- Ensure service delivery meets defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and use available tools / resources to provide appropriate resolutions.
- Actively listen to customer concerns, demonstrate empathy, and build rapport.
- Greet customers in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
- Accurately document work, including proper account notations.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and performance.
- Offer additional products / services when appropriate.
- Track, document, and retrieve information using the call-tracking database.
- Respond to inquiries using available resources or escalate to senior staff when necessary.
Candidate Profile
High school diploma; 3–6 months of relevant experience preferred.Strong customer service orientation with a courteous approach.Proficient in computer navigation, keyboarding, internet, and general PC usage.Effective written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.Detail-oriented, dependable, and skilled at multitasking.Flexible and adaptable to changing environments.Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.Patient, professional, and consistent in tone during customer interactions.Willingness to work rotating shifts as required.Additional skills / experience may be required depending on program / location.Possesses foundational skills to complete routine tasks within simple processes.Works under close supervision, following clearly defined procedures.Developing familiarity with standard terminology, processes, and operating procedures.Entry-level position without a sustained track record of metric performance.Additional Information
Prior call center experience is an advantage.Must be able to clearly explain simple issues in both written and verbal Mandarin and English.Seniority level
