Human Resources Executive

About the role

SIM EDUCARE (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced and talented Human Resources Executive to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Paya Terubong, Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the organisation, ensuring the effective management of all HR functions and contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

Proceed and verify payroll, claims, and HR reports prepared by HR Executives.

Conduct training needs analysis and assist in planning training programs.

Support the HR Manager in implementing HR policies, managing internal and external audits, and conducting compliance checks.

Act as a trusted advisor to handle more complex employee relations matters (discipline, grievances, counselling).

Lead employee onboarding / induction sessions and oversee smooth staff integration.

Support in manpower planning and workforce reporting for HQ and branches.

Adept at implementing creative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates and developing innovative initiatives to improve employee retention.

Prepare detailed HR reports and dashboards (turnover, headcount, recruitment metrics) for management review and decision-making.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the consulting or education industry

Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation

Proficient in MS Office applications and HR information systems

Problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
