Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting : Identify and research potential clients in the Malaysian market through databases, LinkedIn, industry directories, and referrals.

Qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.

Client Engagement

Conduct introductory calls to understand client requirements and position Payroll Ninja’s solutions effectively.

Schedule and deliver product demos and presentations to HR leaders, CFOs, and decision-makers.

Nurture leads through consistent follow-up and relationship management until closure.

Sales Support & Reporting

Work closely with the Business Development Manager to achieve sales targets and KPIs.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.

Provide weekly reports on pipeline, demos conducted, and client feedback.

Market Research

Stay updated on payroll, compliance, and HR technology trends in Malaysia.

Share competitive insights to refine go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Inside Sales (preferably in SaaS, HR Tech, or Payroll solutions).

Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.

Experience in cold calling, lead generation, and client demos.

Knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies is a plus (LinkedIn Ads, email marketing, content campaigns).

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
