Responsibilities :
1. Lead troubleshooting and rectify machinery and equipment failures.
2. Work with team on daily activities to ensure the overall health and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
3. Responsible for Preventive Maintenance for all machinery as listed in the Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
4. Analyse machine breakdown trends and brainstorm preventive actions to minimize downtime.
5. Lead / Assist in the design, modification, or improvement of machines and facilities.
6. Lead / Assist in the installation of new machines / system, including setup and providing training for technicians and operators.
7. Monitor the stock and condition of machine spare parts, ensuring sufficient inventory and accurate stock records.
8. Oversee daily cleaning and housekeeping of machines and the workplace, assisting in the implementation of hygiene and sanitation programs.
9. Contribute to the development of Safe Work Procedures for all maintenance-related activities.
10. Contribute to the development of Environmental Related Procedures for all maintenance-related such as operation of water treatment plant and schedule waste management.
11. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health, safety, and environmental programs and initiatives.
12. Perform any other duties as instructed by the superior.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in food manufacturing or food production maintenance is an added advantage.
Experience in handling safety and environmental issue is an added advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to deliver results and proficiency in computer literacy.
Self-confident, decisive, and capable of working in a high-performance, fast paced, and demanding environment.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
