Staying up to date on the latest trends and developments in the e-procurement and e-invoicing landscape. Communicating effectively about the technical aspects of the solutions to clients. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process and after implementation. Addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively. Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., technical support, customer service) to ensure client satisfaction. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field. Eagerness to learn and build a career in tech sales. Strong communication and presentation skills — in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. A friendly, professional attitude with a proactive approach to work. Familiarity with e-procurement or e-invoicing platforms. Exposure to ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics. Knowledge of Malaysia’s e-invoicing regulations by LHDN (we’ll help you learn this too).

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager, based in WP Kuala Lumpur, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategies to capture new markets, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include market research, business planning, negotiating deals, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identifying and prospecting potential clients in various industries who could benefit from e-procurement and e-invoicing solutions.
- Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of e-procurement and e-invoicing platforms.
- Developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals with clients.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to foster customer loyalty and drive repeat business.
