Job Purpose
The Trainee Outlet Manager will undergo structured training to develop the skills and knowledge required to manage a café / outlet effectively. This role is designed to prepare candidates for a future Outlet Manager position by providing hands-on experience in store operations, customer service, staff supervision, and business performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Participate actively in the company's management trainee program.
- Learn all aspects of outlet operations, including front-of-house, barista station, and back-of-house support.
- Gain knowledge of company SOPs, brand values, and quality standards.
Operations Management
Assist the Outlet Manager in daily outlet operations (opening, closing, and shift management).Monitor inventory, stock rotation, and ordering processes.Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene compliance according to regulations.Learn to handle outlet performance reporting and POS systems.Customer Service & Sales
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively.Support sales targets through upselling, promotions, and customer engagement.Team Leadership
Work closely with Outlet Manager to supervise and motivate the team.Learn to schedule shifts, delegate tasks, and evaluate performance.Assist in onboarding and training of new staff.Business & Performance Management
Gain exposure to outlet budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.Learn strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.Support management in implementing marketing and promotional activities.Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Business, Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field.Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years' experience in F&B industry are encouraged to apply.Strong interest in developing a career in café / restaurant management.Good communication and leadership skills.Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
