About the Role :

Our client is expanding their sales retail presence in Kuala Lumpur and seeking a Sales Lead to spearhead this growth. This position will oversee the entire sales operation in Malaysia — from strategic planning and team development to execution and performance delivery. The role encompasses leadership of key retail channels, including distributors, operators, retail partners, and branded retail stores.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement the Malaysia sales strategy across all physical retail and key account formats
• Build, lead, and develop the Malaysia retail sales organization, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Oversee day-to-day sales operations to ensure smooth execution and target achievement
• Manage key account partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and global teams to ensure consistent brand execution
• Lead retail P&L management, including revenue growth, profitability, and key operational KPIs
• Drive retail expansion plans aligned with the broader market growth strategy
• Oversee in-store experience, visual merchandising, and staff training to maintain brand consistency
• Leverage data and insights to continuously optimize retail performance and enhance the consumer experience
