General Manager (Automotive Industry)

Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 10 years of senior management experience, preferably within automotive manufacturing or Tier‑1 / Tier‑2 supply chain operations. Strong network and working experience with Perodua, Proton, Toyota, Honda, or similar OEMs. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Highly presentable, confident, and capable of influencing at the executive level. Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is a strong advantage. Track record of delivering measurable business results and driving organizational growth. A senior leadership platform within a reputable automotive company. Direct exposure to key automotive industry players and high‑level decision‑making. Competitive executive remuneration package, performance bonuses, and growth opportunities. IQM Group is an established name in the automotive manufacturing sector, and we are now seeking a strategic, confident, and results‑driven General Manager to lead our business growth and represent the company at the highest level of industry engagement.
This is a key leadership role for an individual with proven success in managing client relationships with major automotive OEMs — including Perodua, Proton, Toyota, and Honda. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a sharp negotiator, and a highly presentable professional who can inspire confidence and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and long‑term partnerships.
- Represent the company in executive meetings and business discussions with top automotive clients.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key decision‑makers across the automotive ecosystem.
- Oversee operations and ensure strong alignment between commercial, technical, and financial goals.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to senior management teams.
- Report directly to the Board on business performance, strategy, and key opportunities.
