We are hiring for a role within one of our subsidiary companies, looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving organization’s overall operational success, financial performance (P&L), and strategic direction. This individual will lead and inspire the team, build strong client relationships, and work collaboratively across departments to achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a clear, results-oriented sales strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the company's entire P&L (Profit and Loss), including revenue generation, cost management, and overall financial performance to ensure sustained profitability.
- Establish and maintain an efficient operational framework across all departments (e.g., operations, finance, HR, technology) to ensure seamless and high-quality service delivery.
- Drive key strategic initiatives beyond sales, such as product / services development, technological adoption, and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage and allocate budgets across different departments to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.
- Identify new opportunities for market expansion and innovation.
- Prospect, develop, and close new customers.
- Develop and execute on account plans to deliver optimum revenue potential by managing complete and complex sales-cycles with C-suites.
- Recruit, train, and mentor the team to achieve high performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with partners, clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance through data-driven insights and key metrics.
- Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and develop actionable strategies.
- Collaborate on campaigns and initiatives to support sales objectives.
- Coordinate and work with relevant departments to align sales strategies and goals.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Communication or related courses.Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales preferably in technology or IT industry, with at least 5 years of experience selling directly to Malaysia enterprises and corporations, and people management experience.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a high-growth or competitive environment.Strong customer service experience with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.Effective "roll up the sleeve" work ethic.Seniority level
