Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, half-yearly and annual financial reports.
- Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Monitor expense claims, vendor invoices, and ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain accounting records in compliance with approved accounting standards.
Budgeting & Cost Monitoring
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts.Track expenditures against budget and highlight any variances.Support internal cost analysis and management reporting.Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
Prepare and review tax filings (including annual income tax and withholding tax).Liaise with external auditors and tax agents on statutory filings and audit matters.Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all compliance and audit requirements.Procurement & Vendor Management
Support procurement activities including obtaining quotations, raising purchase orders, and preparing payment documents.Monitor contracts and service agreements with vendors.Maintain up-to-date vendor records and coordinate procurement-related correspondence.Office & General Administration
Ensure office administrative duties are performed smoothly (e.g., office maintenance, supplies, utilities).Coordinate office repair, maintenance, and support services with third-party vendors.Maintain proper records of company assets, insurance coverage, and licenses.Internal Controls & Documentation
Assist in enforcing financial and administrative internal controls.Maintain complete and organized documentation for accounting, procurement, and administrative processes.Support updates to policies and procedures when required.Support to Management
Provide assistance to Head of Department in preparing board papers, reports, and project-related tasks.Assist in managing timelines for submissions to regulatory authorities or internal departments.Handle ad-hoc assignments and special projects as assigned.Unlock job insights
