Overview
JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent will support the APAC regional office by compiling, analyzing, and sharing financial analysis related to General & Admin (G&A) Operations, Agency, and Land Operations, while actively participating in the period close process in line with group guidelines and timelines. Also assists the Senior Assistant Manager in reviewing G&A activities and addressing various operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities including period versus period variance analysis and checking, budget versus actuals, accruals, and reporting.
- Support G&A Operations, Agency and Land Operations monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting, including monthly broadcast, checking and identifying significant cost differentials against prior period, CMA Agency Fees checking and reconciliation, headcount (HC) analysis and discrepancies report, as well as other reviews as necessary.
- Annual budgeting – coordinate, compile and finalize G&A and CAPEX for support and liner functions.
- Support centre’s projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Promote a strong internal controls environment and help manage processes to ensure controls are in place.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and are delivered on time.Produce periodic management reports with insightful analysis on costs / business performance in a timely and accurate manner.Support annual financial planning / budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.Contribute to the preparation of the periodic management slides for submission.Collaborate with cross functional / business teams in providing timely analysis and accurate commentaries.Assist Senior Assistant Manager in reviewing G&A reports to ensure a smooth continuation of workflow, providing guidance and support as needed.Assist Senior Assistant Manager to lead the team on troubleshooting for G&A and Land Ops activities.Assist Senior Assistant Manager on leading the IT digitalization for AMR reporting.To be trained as main PIC for G&A Operations, Agency and Land Operations activities to provide guidance to other team members.Perform ad hoc analysis as requested in support of decision-making and strategy.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting.Minimum 3-5 years working experience in commercial accounting / shared services / audit firm, preferably from a large organization, or at least a medium-sized corporation. Exposed to full scope of financial accounting and general management accounting tasks, which involves analytical work.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). At least intermediate level (e.g., Pivot, VLOOKUP, IF functions).Able to think creatively and analytically with a positive working attitude.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to deal effectively with internal and external parties, especially when addressing issues.Team player with ability to work independently.Dedicated, meticulous and good analytical skills with attention to detail.Proactive and able to drive and execute financial programs with minimal supervision.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Additional Information
