About the role
We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Admin Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for a broad range of functions, including human resources, foreign worker management, and general administration - ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and full compliance with all relevant regulations.
What you'll be doing
1. Foreign Workers Management
- Handle recruitment of foreign workers, including sourcing, documentation, and onboarding.
- Manage work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and compliance with immigration regulations.
- Liaise with government agencies (e.g., KDN, Immigration, JTK, FWCMS, Fomema) for all foreign worker-related matters.
- Maintain updated records of foreign workers including passport validity, permits, and accommodation details.
2. Human Resources
Assist in full-cycle recruitment for local staff : job posting, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.Monitor attendance, leave applications, and ensure accurate records.Prepare HR-related documents such as employment contracts, memos, warning letters, and other correspondence.Administer monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.Process HR-related staff claims efficiently and accurately.Organise training, manage HRD Corp grant application and claim and maintain related documentation.Enforce and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws and regulations.Handle internal communication where needed.3. Administration
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office and management team.Assist in organizing and coordinating company events or staff functions.Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance efficiency in both head office and estate operations.Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior or managementWhat we're looking for
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field2-3 years of experience in a similar HR and administrative role, preferably in the plantation industryExperience in handling foreign worker affairs and familiar with HR best practices, employment laws and regulatory requirementsStrong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suite and HR management softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of integrity and responsibilityProactive, adaptable, and willing to learn and contribute to process improvementsWhat we offer
