Overview
As part of the Business Development team at LBS, the candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s growth strategy through land studies, market research, and landbank optimization. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, strong research capabilities, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional departments to support decision-making and long-term planning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct prelim feasibility studies on new land opportunities and potential business ventures.
- Identify strategic approaches to optimize the utilization and value of the Group’s existing landbank and property assets.
- Perform macro and micro market research, competitor benchmarking, and regularly monitor property market movements and trends.
- Assist in preparing business proposals, development concepts, and presentations for internal evaluations and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather inputs for land studies and project assessments.
- Contribute to the development of financial models, sales assumptions, and project viability analyses in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Support due diligence, project planning, and stakeholder engagement for new developments.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of all studies, proposals, and research updates.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Business Studies, Economics, or related disciplines.Minimum 2–4 years of working experience in real estate development, land studies, property consultancy, or related fields.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of project management or mapping software is an added advantage.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet a team player who is result-oriented and proactive.Willing to travel outstation for land visits, stakeholder meetings, or project reviews when required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
