Overview
This role is responsible for driving and maintaining the local QMS and EMS including legal compliance, developing and coordinate the local QEHS team and to be responsible and have authority to make local QA business decision on site. This includes maintain and drive local QA KPIs and Performance Indicators that will be linked to Global level QA KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and follow up on raw material quality inspection processes, comparing the specifications with the quality parameters, recording inspection data and handling nonconformities w / possible material replacement with the suppliers. Establishing with the operation management the acceptable parameters of product quality and feedback inspection check list.
- Assure the application of the integrated management system by all employees in the unit and support in the continuous improvement.
- Control raw material certificates, including welding log, of all incoming materials, keeping traceability of those records and being able to retrieve, with or without a system, the data when a new certificate must be created.
- Develop product certificates, with or without a support system, Quality control plans, Inspection and testing plans.
- Have the ownership of the quality control in the whole production, with the authority to stop the processing of any non-conform product.
- Develop procedures, work instruction and forms to be used in production to reinforce standardization and compliance.
- Qualify suppliers according to company standard procedures.
- Control KPIs from the whole unit, following up on the targets and informing via corrective action request in case of any deviation from the plan.
- Control the results of EHS standards generated by the unit, interacting with the global EHS area, requesting technical visits, controlling PPE's usage and due date.
- Generation of environmental reports, communication of scrap material and its correct disposition.
- Ensure all employees are trained for their performing activities, including internal and external training.
- Ensure traceability from final product to raw material, including for WIP materials.
- Comply with Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) standards and procedures defined by law and formalized by Alleima local and global, seeking to mitigate risks of accidents and incidents, as well as ensuring the integrity of material, human and environmental assets Under the responsibility of the organization
Qualifications
Understanding and experience of working with ISO9001 : 2015 QMS.Lead Auditor training.At leave 5 years proven performer with experience in QHSE or manufacturing QA / QC.Experience with O&G standards such as APIQ1 is an advantage.Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.Application Questions
