About The Team
The Vendor Management team optimizes the company's logistics operations by effectively managing third-party logistics providers, overseeing vendor relationships to ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs, and driving continuous improvement in the logistics network. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high service standards.
Job Description
- Vendor Relationship Management : responsible for the selection, onboarding, and ongoing management of 3PL partners; develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key 3PL providers; ensure 3PL partners meet SLAs and KPIs.
- Performance Monitoring And Improvement : implement and monitor performance metrics; analyze performance data and identify areas for improvement; collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions; conduct regular performance reviews and audits.
- Cost Management : work with the Finance department to manage and optimize logistics budgets; identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiation and process improvements; implement cost-control measures.
- Contract And Agreement Management : collaborate with Legal and Procurement to negotiate and draft contracts with 3PL partners; ensure regulatory compliance and monitor contract performance; resolve contractual disputes as needed.
- Strategic Planning : participate in the development of supply chain and logistics strategies; contribute to long-term network optimization, capacity planning, and risk management.
- Team Leadership And Development : lead, mentor, and develop a team of vendor managers; align the team with company goals and objectives.
- Communication And Collaboration : collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and transportation teams; communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive alignment and smooth logistics operations.
Requirements
Candidates with at least 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or freight forwarding.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally.Energetic, action-oriented, positive problem-solver with analytical skills and a passion for the ecommerce industry.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Details
