Capex Engineer

CAPEX Engineer plays important role in implementation of new plant / facility, improvement / modification to existing facility with structured approach of project life cycle from problem statement / definition, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, training and handover to operation and maintenance team.

• In the scope of yearly CAPEX plan elaboration : Studies industrial projects ( parts of plant) based on the expression of the need; Pre-study with optimized solution leading to a technical specification and a budget,
• Implementation of the projects agreed in the yearly CAPEX plan, from design to construction,
• Scope : engineering (C&S, mechanical) , supervision of construction, support of commissioning,
• Phases of engineering : Flow Sheets, Lay out, Conceptual design, basic design, detailed design, shop drawings ( part of them can be subcontracted to external consultancy)
• Works in partnership with the electrical / automation department for the projects, and civil & structural works specialists,
• Preparation of Request For Quotation (RFQ), analyze of the offers with procurement department
• Implementation of CAPEX projects by respecting the budgets / schedules / quality & SHE standards of Lhoist,
• Supports the plants for major maintenance or unexpected mechanical issues,
• Adhere to and share a "safety first" attitude, whether within or outside of Lhoist.
