Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Operational HR Management
Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance and alignment with company objectives.
Support HR transformation initiatives, establishing structure and governance across Malaysia and other jurisdictions.Partner with business leaders to translate operational goals into actionable HR strategies.Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningLead end‑to‑end recruitment across retail and corporate functions, ensuring timely and effective talent sourcing.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future needs.Partner with management to plan and forecast manpower requirements.Employee Relations & ComplianceHandle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations in compliance with Malaysian labour laws.
Ensure HR policies, employment contracts and statutory practices meet legal and audit requirements.Foster a positive and compliant workplace culture through fair and transparent HR practices.Compensation, Benefits & GovernanceOversee payroll accuracy, statutory compliance and benefits administration.
Review and benchmark compensation structures to ensure competitiveness.Strengthen HR governance through policy standardisation and process improvement.Change & Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with management to implement HR improvement and change initiatives.
Act as a trusted HR business partner, providing practical advice to leadership.Coordinate with regional HR counterparts to ensure alignment and best‑practice sharing.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field.8–12 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to recruitment, industrial relations and HR operations.Proven experience in policy development, compliance and HR governance.Hands‑on and execution‑focused, adaptable in a lean setup.In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.Excellent interpersonal, leadership and problem‑solving skills.Prior experience in retail, F&B or start‑up environments is highly advantageous.Desired Skills and Experience
