Job Descriptions :
- Oversee daily operations of the company's foreign worker hostels.
- Ensure proper room allocation and maintain updated hostel occupancy records.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
- Report and coordinate hostel maintenance with internal teams or contractors.
- Act as the main contact for foreign workers regarding hostel-related matters.
- Ensure adequate amenities (beds, utilities, water, electricity, gas, etc.) are available.
- Enforce hostel rules, handle minor disciplinary cases, and escalate major issues to the direct superior.
- Provide support for workers in emergencies (e.g., accidents, urgent medical needs & etc).
- Drive company vehicle to fetch and send foreign workers to the Clinic / hospital for medical treatment, FOMEMA health screenings, medical check-ups and other welfare-related appointments as instructed by direct superior.
- Maintain hostel-related documents, including occupancy list, room allocation and hostel inspection checklists.
- Submit monthly reports on hostel status, welfare, and incidents to the direct superior.
- Ensure hostels comply with the Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990 (Act 446).
- Assist during audits, government inspections, and compliance checks.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures (fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and exits).
- To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by a superior from time to time.
Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent.Able to provide 24-hour support for hostel matters when required, outside of normal working hours.Proven experience as a Hostel Supervisor, Warden, or similar role in managing foreign worker hostels will be an advantage.Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
