Job Summary
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and presentation of all pastries, and baked goods. You will ensure high-quality standards, maintain consistency, and lead a team to create visually stunning and delicious pastries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and execute high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Oversee the daily production of pastry and bakery items while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Ensure all recipes, preparation, and presentation meet company standards.
- Innovate and introduce seasonal and new menu items in line with trends and customer preferences.
- Manage inventory, order ingredients, and control food costs efficiently.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen team to create complementary desserts.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Head Baker, or similar role.Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and dessert presentation.Creativity and ability to develop new recipes and seasonal menus.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.Passion for the culinary arts and commitment to quality.Preferred Qualifications
Formal culinary training in pastry arts.Experience in a high-volume restaurant, café, or hotel.Knowledge of modern pastry trends and techniques.What We Offer
