Identify, propose, and secure new potential locations / sites across Malaysia for store expansion.
Responsibilities include :
- Conduct end-to-end negotiations with developers, landlords, and property agents to finalize tenancy agreements.
- Plan and carry out site visits to evaluate potential locations, ensuring timely submission of proposals.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Legal, Projects, Operations, etc.) on administration, store fit-out, and preparation of legal documents.
- Monitor and ensure department KPIs are achieved (e.g., number of store openings, store sales performance).
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with landlords, property agents, and developers.
- Prepare business proposals, reports, and presentations to management on potential site evaluations and project progress.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in business development, property acquisition, leasing, or related field (retail / FMCG experience is an added advantage).Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Proficient in Mandarin to facilitate smoother communication with developers, landlords, and agents. Ability to read and write in Chinese is a plus.Willing to travel nationwide for site visits and business meetings.Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Good knowledge of tenancy agreements, property market trends, and retail expansion strategies.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
