We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee a board range of HR functions in a fast-paced corporate environment. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking HR professional with a proven track record in organizational leadership, employee engagement, and cross-functional business partnering.
As a senior member of the HR team, you will play pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with our corporate objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and support the growth and transformation of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with executive and senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives across the organization.
- Contribute to organizational design and development strategies to support scalability and efficiency.
Business Partnering
Act as a strategic and trusted partner to department heads and senior management to all HR-related matters.Collaborate with business leaders to drive talent and change management strategies.Influence leadership decisions through data-driven HR insights and metrics.Talent Acquisition and Retention
Oversee recruitment strategies for mid to senior-level positions, ensuring alignment with talent needs and corporate values.Implement employer branding and employee value proposition initiatives.Design and implement employee retention programs based on regular engagement and feedback analysis.Performance and Employee Development
Drive performance management processes to ensure clear goal setting, feedback, and appraisals.Promote continuous learning and development through structured training programs and leadership development initiatives.Employee Relations and Compliance
Handle complex employee relations cases and ensure resolution in alignment with legal requirements and organizational values.Ensure compliance with local labor laws (Malaysia Employment Act), HR policies, and corporate governance standards.Payroll
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll execution for all employees.Liaise with the Finance team to ensure accuracy and statutory compliance.Manage payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and controls.Ensure correct processing of benefits, statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc), and employee reimbursements.Stay updated with payroll related legislation and ensure continuous compliance with local tax and labor laws.Compensation and Benefits
Develop competitive and equitable remuneration frameworks.Conduct regular benchmarking and salary reviews to ensure market competitiveness.Annual salary review, performance bonus, and promotion cycles.HR Operations
Optimize HR processes and policies for efficiency and scalability.Oversee the maintenance of HR systems and data integrity, including integration with payroll platforms.Ensure accurate and efficient execution of HR administrative processes.Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial HR role within a corporate or multinational company.Strong understanding of Malaysia Labor Laws, HR best practices, and organizational development.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong working knowledge of Malaysia payroll processes, statutory contributions, tax regulations, etc.Job Type : Full-time
