Expected to consistently execute the functions and duties of the Human Resources Department as established in the existing Policies and Procedures while maintaining good working harmony.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Recruitment & Onboarding of Foreign Workers and Expats
- Oversee the full scope of hiring foreign workers from quota application to the selection and engagement of Foreign Workers' representatives
- Oversee the full scope of hiring expatriates from application of supporting letters and approvals from relevant government departments
- Assist with onboarding processes, including orientation, documentation and settling-in support
Permit & Immigration Management
Oversee the full scope of expatriate and foreign worker administration, including passport renewals, FOMEMA checkups, work permit renewals, check-out memos ensuring status is up to date and coordination with area supervisors, government agencies and appointed agentsLiaise with immigration authorities and government departmentsHousing & Welfare
Arrange and monitor accommodation for foreign workers and expatriatesManage expatriate and foreign workers grievances, disciplinary matters, misconduct investigations and terminations in accordance with Malaysian labour law and internal policiesEnsure compliance with the annual leave policy for expatriate and foreign workersCompliance & Documentation
Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labour laws, JTK, KDN, and immigration requirementsWork closely with management to provide HR advice and contribute to the improvement of HR processes and policiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date leave records in the HR system and ensure compliance with company policyOffboarding & Repatriation
Handle repatriation logistics, including exit formalities and cancellation of permitsCoordinate final settlements and feedback processesExperience :
Experience in foreign worker and expatriate management.Hands-on experience dealing with Immigration, MOHR, KDN, TalentCorp, embassies, and recruitment agencies.Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Immigration Act, and Expatriate / Foreign Worker regulations.Proficiency in handling end to end work permit applications, FOMEMA, quota approvals, and expatriate passes.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and compliance.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including cross-cultural sensitivity.Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
