About the role
As a Key Account Manager (FMCG) at Kara Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in developing and nurturing strong relationships with the company's key clients in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. This full-time position is based in Puchong, Selangor, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively manage and grow the company's portfolio of key accounts (modern trade).
- Develop and implement account strategies to drive sales, increase market share, and maximize profitability
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key account clients, ensuring exceptional service and building long-term, collaborative relationships.
- Work closely with the marketing teams to develop and execute account-specific marketing and promotional plans.
- Actively monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with the broader team to ensure seamless delivery of products to key account clients
What we're looking for
Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of experiences in key account role within the FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of the FMCG market, customer dynamics, and industry best practices
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
Strong commercial acumen and business development skills.
