The Development Executive plays a key role in driving business expansion through strategic site identification, acquisition, and relationship management. The role requires an agile, analytical, and collaborative individual who can adapt to market shifts, regulatory changes, and evolving consumer behaviours in the OOH landscape.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Site Identification & Feasibility
- Conduct site surveys to identify high-impact and commercially viable locations for OOH media.
- Evaluate traffic flow, audience profiles, and surrounding commercial activity using digital tools and data analytics.
- Assess technical feasibility (visibility, power supply, digital readiness) and potential display formats (static, digital, programmatic-ready).
- Monitor competitors' installations and identify new growth areas including transit hubs, lifestyle centers, and mixed-use developments.
2. Site Acquisition & Application Submissions
Prepare and compile all documentation required for site applications including layout plans, renderings, and technical specs.Submit applications to relevant local authorities, government agencies, or private property owners.Follow up consistently to ensure timely approvals and maintain up-to-date records of application status.3. Stakeholder Liaison & Compliance
Build and maintain strong working relationships with local councils, city planners, engineering departments, and regulatory bodies.Keep abreast of municipal guidelines, urban planning policies, and advertising by-laws.Ensure all developments meet legal, safety, and environmental requirements.4. Commercial & Administrative Support
Assist in negotiating rental agreements and renewal terms with property owners.Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Design) to align site development with business needs.Maintain accurate records, site inventories, and development trackers.Prepare reports, presentations, and supporting documents for internal and external stakeholders.5. Market Intelligence & Innovation
Keep up with trends in digital OOH (DOOH), smart cities, green advertising infrastructure, and audience measurement.Propose innovative development strategies aligned with market demands and advertiser expectations.Support pilot testing and rollout of new media formats or emerging technologies.Job Requirements :
Minimum of Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in site scouting, permit, lease negotiations, project management, and stakeholder coordination.Strong understanding of the advertisement billboard landscape and outdoor media trends.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in MS Office.
